Overview

The EZcode is 2D barcode symbology that was created specifically for the mobile camera phone in 2005. It has a simple, yet highly effective design which allows it to be read at a smaller size, by a higher number of mobile devices. Millions of EZcodes have been published around the world because of these unique benefits. A EZcode is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) created by ETH Zurich. It is a 2-dimensional code that was created and designed specifically for mobile camera phones because of its simplicity compared to other matrix codes. An EZcode can be up to 20x less dense than other formats. So an EZcode can stay small and still be read by most camera phones. Licensing

• Small Company Developer License: grants the rights of the Developer License to organizations which a gross annual revenue or funding of less than 2 million U.S. Dollars.
• 1 developer License: allows one developer royalty-free distribution up to 10,000 user licenses.
• 5 developer License: grants the rights of the Developer License for up to five (5) developers and 20,000 user licenses.
• Unlimited Developer License: grants the rights of the Developer License for an unlimited number of developers and an unlimited number of user licenses.
